Zishan discovered yoga after starting her career right after graduating from her MBA.  The long hours sitting at a desk accumulated into lower back and neck pain.  Since then she has discovered and enjoyed the multi-faceted benefits of yoga and has dedicated herself to the practice of studying and teaching this discipline.

Zishan brings to the mat her background in classical music, opera and piano.  She believes the fluidity of music and rhythm along with the meditative elements of yoga is very transformative and can empower students to lead confident and well balanced lives.  She is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga to her students and how yoga can nourish the mind, release emotions, build community, and encourage a healthier lifestyle.  She is the bluebird that creates melody in your life and on your mat.

Zishan completed her 200hr certification through Yoga Inside Out and continues to study with her mentor, Nikki Wong.
